Pressure Testing
These pressure test systems are used for multiple purposes, including the detection of leakage
from a part or to detect restrictions and/or blockage within the part under test. The purpose of a pressure test is to
ensure the safety, reliability, and the leak tightness of the pressure systems. A pressure test involves filling the vessel or
pipe systems with a liquid which may be dyed to aid in visual leak detection and pressurizing the vessel to the specified
test pressure. A pressure test is always required when a new piping system has been completed, or instances where
individual pipes have been altered or exposed to fire. Performing pressure tests on various components, including
pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, equipment, control valves, panel and safety valves, to ensure their integrity and
compliance with safety standards.
